Craft Resin 8L Table Top Epoxy is an ultra-clear, self-levelling coating resin designed for large dining tables, full kitchen worktops, bar tops and high-volume workshop projects. The larger 1:1 kit is ideal for wide surfaces and multiple coatings, creating a smooth, durable, high-gloss finish in thin layers up to 3 mm.
- Self-leveling, bubble-release formula — optimized viscosity for controlled flow, smooth leveling, and fewer defects.
- Easy 1:1 mix by volume — consistent results for flood coats, clear coating, and pigment-rich designs.
- Around 25 minutes of working time at 25°C — plan the pour sequence before mixing. Larger mixed volumes reduce the working time further.
- Durable finish for daily use — cures hard and scratch-resistant with a water-resistant surface that’s easy to clean.
- Yellowing resistance — formulated for higher yellowing resistance than standard coating grades (manufacturer statement, no test method given).
- Cure and heat rating — hard cure 36–48 hours at 25°C; heat resistant up to 90°C; full mechanical strength develops over about 21 days. The heat figure is a material property, not a rating for what may be set down on the surface — hot cookware goes on a trivet or mat.
- Low-odour — comfortable to use indoors with normal ventilation. Wear gloves: uncured resin can irritate skin and, with repeated contact, cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Food contact — Suitable for incidental food contact once fully cured. This does not extend to food storage, prolonged contact, cutting surfaces, drinking vessels, serving hot food or dishwasher use.
