Table Top Epoxy Resin Kit - 4L (1:1) | Ultra-Clear, Self-Leveling
Craft Resin 4L Table Top Epoxy is an ultra-clear, self-levelling coating resin designed for coffee tables, furniture, bar tops and small-to-medium worktops. The easy 1:1 kit creates a smooth, durable, high-gloss protective finish in thin coats up to 3 mm, making it a practical choice for individual home and DIY projects.
- Self-leveling, bubble-release formula — optimized viscosity for controlled flow, smooth leveling, and fewer defects.
- Easy 1:1 mix by volume — consistent results for flood coats, clear coating, and pigment-rich designs.
- Around 25 minutes of working time at 25°C — plan the pour before mixing. Larger mixed volumes reduce the working time further.
- Durable finish for daily use — cures hard and scratch-resistant with a water-resistant surface that’s easy to clean.
- Yellowing resistance — formulated for higher yellowing resistance than standard coating grades (manufacturer statement, no test method given).
- Cure and heat rating — hard cure 36–48 hours at 25°C; heat resistant up to 90°C; full mechanical strength develops over about 21 days. The heat figure is a material property, not a rating for what may be set down on the surface — hot cookware goes on a trivet or mat.
- Low-odour — comfortable to use indoors with normal ventilation. Wear gloves: uncured resin can irritate skin and, with repeated contact, cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Food contact — Suitable for incidental food contact once fully cured. This does not extend to food storage, prolonged contact, cutting surfaces, drinking vessels, serving hot food or dishwasher use.
Kit includes: 4L total (2L resin + 2L hardener).

What projects can I make with the 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit?
The 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit is ideal for small to medium-sized surface coating projects, including coffee tables, desks, side tables, wooden furniture, decorative surfaces and DIY epoxy resin projects. It provides enough resin to create a smooth, glossy and durable finish on smaller furniture pieces.
Is 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin suitable for beginners?
Yes. The 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit is a great choice for beginners and DIY makers working on their first epoxy coating projects. Its size makes it easier to learn application techniques while creating furniture pieces, tabletops and decorative surfaces.
Can I use 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin for countertops?
Yes. The 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit can be used for smaller countertop projects, bathroom vanities, desks and other flat surfaces. For larger countertops, kitchen islands, breakfast bars or multiple surfaces, an 8L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit may be more suitable.
Can I use 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin for a dining table?
Yes. The 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit can be suitable for smaller dining tables, coffee tables and side tables depending on the surface size and required coating thickness.
Use our Epoxy Resin Calculator to estimate the amount needed for your project.
Should I choose 4L or 8L Table Top Epoxy Resin?
Choose the 4L Table Top Epoxy Resin kit for smaller furniture projects, coffee tables, desks, side tables and DIY epoxy coatings. Choose the 8L kit for larger surfaces such as countertops, kitchen islands, dining tables and projects requiring more resin volume.
Explore our complete range of Table Top Epoxy Resin kits to compare sizes and find the right option for your project.
Can I use Table Top Epoxy Resin for river tables?
Table Top Epoxy Resin is designed for coating and finishing flat surfaces rather than deep casting. For river tables, deep wood fills and thicker pours, choose Deep Pour Epoxy Resin instead.
What is the mixing ratio for Table Top Epoxy Resin?
Table Top Epoxy Resin is mixed 1:1 by volume — equal parts resin and hardener. Measure by volume and mix thoroughly before pouring.
How thick can each coat of Table Top Epoxy Resin be?
Pour each coat up to 3 mm. Table Top Epoxy Resin is a coating resin, so depth is built up with several thin coats rather than one thick pour.
How long is the working time for Table Top Epoxy Resin?
Around 25 minutes at 25°C. Larger mixed volumes reduce the working time, so plan the pour before mixing.
How long does Table Top Epoxy Resin take to cure?
Surface dry in about 6 hours, and a hard cure in 36–48 hours at 25°C. Kitchen worktops are ready for use after 72 hours, and full mechanical strength develops over about 21 days.
