CRAFT RESIN Arts & Crafts resin 8L | Crystal Clear, Mix (1:1)
Craft Resin 8L Clear Epoxy Resin for Arts & Crafts is designed for larger resin art projects, multiple coaster and tray sets, jewellery, moulds and repeat creative work. The low-viscosity two-part epoxy flows easily into moulds and fine details, creating a crystal clear, glossy finish that showcases colours, pigments and embedded elements. With a simple 1:1 mix ratio, the 8L size provides more resin for larger craft projects, multiple pieces and frequent use by resin artists and makers.
- Made for Art Coating and Creative Pieces. This is the resin to choose for coating canvas art, flat artwork and small boards, and for coasters, trays, jewellery and small craft pieces. Pour up to 1/4 inch (6 mm) per layer — a flood coat over flat artwork is usually 1–2 mm, well inside that.
- Easy 1:1 Mix Ratio for Beginners. Measure equal parts resin and hardener by volume, mix slowly, and pour. The simple 1:1 ratio makes this resin easy to use for beginners while still giving experienced makers reliable results.
- Low-Bubble, Low-Viscosity Formula. The smooth, low-viscosity formula flows easily into silicone molds, corners, and fine details. It helps air bubbles rise and release more easily, making it ideal for clean, detailed craft pours.
- Cure Time & Pour Depth. You’ll have around 35 minutes of working time (50 g at 25°C). The resin reaches a hard cure in 24 hours. For best results, pour up to 1/4 inch (6 mm) per layer.
- Low-Odour Formula. Made for home and studio use, this formula is low-odour. Always wear gloves, protect your workspace, and work in a well-ventilated area.
- Not for Deep Pours. This resin is made for thin creative pours. For river tables, deep molds, or flower preservation blocks, use Deep Pour resin. For large tabletops or heavy protective coating, use Table Top resin.

FAQ

What's the shipping and delivery timeline?
Orders typically arrive in a few days, but we advise allowing 1-3 working days for deliveries.
How much resin mix do I need?
To work out how much resin mix and therefore what Craft Resin kit you will need for your project, please visit our website: https://www.craft-resin.co.uk/pages/epoxy-resin-calculator
Does Craft Resin yellow over time?
Craft Resin is formulated to be yellowing-resistant and helps resist yellowing over time. It is not immune to yellowing — clarity is affected by prolonged direct sunlight — and we do not describe it as non-yellowing.
How long does Arts & Crafts resin take to cure?
Craft Resin Arts & Crafts resin reaches a hard cure in 24 hours at 25°C. Full mechanical strength develops over around 21 days.
Why are my projects not curing?
Check your workspace temperature 21–27°C or 70–81°F. Ensure resin & hardener ratio is equal by volume, mix for 3-5 minutes, and allow more time for thin or thick layers. If steps were incorrect, curing may fail, requiring a restart.
How can I prevent bubbles in my epoxy resin projects?
To avoid bubbles, keep the resin and hardener in a room at 21–27°C (70–81°F) (below 15°C, warm the resin to 30°C before mixing), mix them slowly and steadily, pour in layers no thicker than 1/4 inch (or up to 2 inches for deep pour resin), and use a heat torch to eliminate surface bubbles.
