Craft Resin boasts a non-yellowing technology using conservation-grade materials. While many resins use a UV stabilizer to delay yellowing, Craft Resin combines this with an advanced additive hindered amine light stabilizer, ensuring its clarity lasts for decades.
Is Craft Resin safe for food contact?
Absolutely! Once cured, Craft Resin is inert and safe for food contact. It's been rigorously tested against global standards and won't leach substances into food.
How long does it take for the epoxy resin to cure?
Our epoxy resin typically takes between 24 to 48 hours to cure completely. For the best results, ensure that the working environment is within 21-24C. However, it's worth noting that full strength is achieved after 72 hours.
Why are my projects not curing?
Check your workspace temperature 21-24°C or 70-75°F. Ensure resin & hardener ratio is equal by volume, mix for 3-5 minutes, and allow more time for thin or thick layers. If steps were incorrect, curing may fail, requiring a restart.
How can I prevent bubbles in my epoxy resin projects?
To avoid bubbles, ensure your resin and hardener are at 21-24°C or 70-75°F, mix them slowly and steadily, pour in layers no thicker than 1/4 inch (or up to 2 inches for deep pour resin), and use a heat torch to eliminate surface bubbles.
